WELCOME TO SLANGO

The Sierra Leone Association of Non Governmental Organizations (SLANGO) is a consortium of NGO’s both indigenous and foreign, whose primary role is to ensure cooperation among its members. SLANGO Also serves as a unified voice of the NGO community Sierra Leone. SLANGO forms the link between NGOs, government institutions and donor agencies. It also  promotes the interest of its constituents. SLANGO was formed in the wake of the proliferation of NGOs in Sierra Leone. It addresses the need for a national coordinating entity that NGO intervention in the national Development process are henceforth efficiently coordinated to avoid duplication of efforts and to work for more meaningful and sustainable impact.

National subscription Le 2,309,926 for 2 year’s

If you are an existing member of slango you must renew your agreement after 2 year.  by Downloading the renewal form  through our website by clicking the renewal button above and fill the application form completely, and take it to the Secretariat  7c Conteh Drive, Tengbeh Town, Freetown Sierra Leone.

National  Subscription of Le 1,809,926

The subscription fee should be paid into the SLANGO’s bank Account at Sierra Leone Commercial Bank, Lightfoot Boston Street Freetown,         Account Number 00221169903001.

1.N.G.O intervention in the nation development process are effectively coordinated to avoid duplicity of efforts and achieve a sustainable impact on target beneficiaries. 

2.  Recognizing the essential role NGO  play in national development. 

3. Slango strive to improve on NGO performances, transparency and accountability by strengthening there capacity to ensure effective implementation.

The success of SLANGO is built on the efforts of all its employees and in this past two years, we have successfully navigated many challenges, and enjoyed many successes. Thank you for the dedication, loyalty and commitment that each one of you has shown towards SLANGO.

As already mentioned the SLANGO period 2018/19 was filled with both challenges and victories. It has been extremely reassuring to know that SLANGO and I can count on all of you regardless of what faces us.
